| The Society of Women Engineers is dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and employment of women in engineering. SWE provides an active social network for women in the engineering field at OU while simultaneously gaining technical enrichment. Our members include majors from every engineering field; from freshmen to graduate students; and from varying ethnic and social backgrounds. SWE hosts monthly social and technical meetings with additional community service aspects. Our main events for the year include Girl Scout Badge Day, Mr. Engineering Pageant, Date Auction, and High School Girls' Day.
