Otino-Waa Children's Village is located in Lira, Uganda, East Africa. Otino-Waa, in the Luo language, means "our children." It is home to boys and girls, ages 5-18 and is a place of safety, learning and healing. It offers the basic needs of food, protection, housing and education to orphaned children.
The twenty acre compound contains circles of homes for eight kids, with a widowed "house mom." This home environment recreates a family unit where care and love can be shared. The children have on site school , medical treatment, vocational training, sports, nutrition and 24 hour security.
The Village is in need of new sponsors to provide for these children. Your generosity and sponsorship helps to provide a new life for a generation lost to hopelessness and terror.
