| The Mary Theresa Sher Foundation was formed by Elizabeth Sher in order to honor her sister Theresa's memory with gatherings of family and friends resulting in a support system that provides scholarships, supports other organizations and helps the overall community.
Theresa Bell, as she was affectionately known, had Down syndrome and was taken too early from all of us. She always had a great time at parties, interacting with others and truly embodied the definition of a "good person." With Theresa Bell's spirit behind them Elizabeth, Anita and Tom head the family's charity with the help of their parents and the rest of the siblings, which focuses its efforts on a golf outing and "beef and beer" every year for their primary source of funding. The MTS Foundation is exited to be an affiliate of ForYourCause.com and looks forward to a long-term and rewarding relationship.
