What does my membership cost?
Nothing. Your membership is absolutely free. Your charity or cause is also free. The prices our merchants offer through our site are the same as if they were accessed directly as well.

Is my membership private?
Yes. No personal information is ever released to an advertiser or third party. We provide aggregate information about our membership base in order attract merchants and get our members better deals.

My membership is free, my charity is free and the prices are the same. What's the catch?
No catch here. We have established relationships with hundreds of merchants, promote and provide them through ForYourCause. They pay us a commission when a purchase is made with them through ForYourCause. We provide at least 50% of that commission to the cause or charity of that members choice.

I signed up before, but have changed my e-mail since, what do I do?
Contact us through our contact page with the correct information and we will make changes for you in approximately one (1) business day.

I did some shopping and donating. How do I keep track of what I have donated to my causes?
All purchases take three (3) to four (4) weeks to be processed and totaled in our system to allow for returns, etc... After this time your donations will be compiled and added to your account. After accruing over $25.00 in donations to a specific cause, we will mail a check to that cause. If our members want to know how much they have in their accounts for their causes, simply contact us and we will provide up to date information in approximately one (1) business day.

How do I cancel my membership?
We take pride in serving our customers to the best of or our ability. If you would like to cancel your membership, contact us and we will terminate it immediately.

What does it cost for a cause or charity to sign up?
Same as our members, nothing. Membership for causes and charities are free.

I cannot find my cause or charity on your list, can I sign it up?
Sure. Our members can sign up any worthy cause or charity. Start to raise money for local causes like new baseball uniforms or national causes like cancer. We will manage the funds generated and distribute them to the causes. In order to sign up a cause or charity, simply go to our Home page and click on “Sign up and Register Your Own Charity”. Fill out the short form and allow our technicians to register the cause or charity in our files on the left hand side of the page. Once it is registered, shop and donate.

Does my cause have to file under a 501(c)3 charity to be in your list?
No. We actually encourage local worthy causes that aren't registered to sign up. Rally the neighborhood to raise funds for your cause. We can help all organizations, contact us for assistance.

My whole organization is using ForYourCause, how much money have we raised?
Exciting isn't it. Contact us and we will give you a total amount in approximately one (1) business day. Please keep in mind that this total will reflect a date about three (3) to four (4) weeks prior to your request.

When can my organization expect a check?
Checks are sent to the causes and charities every month. The checks are sent approximately 60 days in arrears to allow our merchants to report any merchandise returns or exchanges. Expect to receive a check 60 days after the end of that month, i.e. purchases made by January 31st will generate a check distributed on April 1st. ForYourCause does not distribute checks below $25.00 and instead carries the funds over into the next month until $25.00 or more accumulates.

What kinds of causes and charities are on your list?
We offer an array of good, worthy causes and charities. We donate to any cause or charity that is trying to make the world a better peace. As stated before, we don't require these organizations to have been granted 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service as this is not a requirement for receiving a donation. We encourage our members to research the causes and charities they support before doing so on our website.

Can I change from my primary cause to another cause?
Yes. Once signed in, simply pick from our Cause
Categories on the side of the page, view additional
causes and choose one. This will bring you to a cause
page. Click shop to proceed to the Mall.

Is shopping at your website secure?
Yes. We take your privacy very seriously and offer safe and secure shopping through all of our merchants. Still, our merchants are each separate organizations and we recommend that our members read the privacy policy and practices of each.

I'm not happy with my purchase, what can I do?
We urge all our members to keep records of their purchases. Each merchant has a customer service page that describes the return policy. Consult that page for return details. If you are not satisfied with the customer service that you receive, please contact us and let us know.

Can I have my order shipped to another address?
Check with the merchant's customer service page for shipping details and policies. Purchases are usually delivered to the address of our members choice.

Can I be sure that ForYourCause will donate up to
15% to my cause or charity?
Absolutely. ForYourCause has agreements with our cause partners, allowing them the privilege to ensure that they are receiving all donations due to them. We work hard to raise as much funds as possible for our causes and charities.

Do I receive a tax deduction for the donations I contribute through ForYourCause?
ForYourCause does not offer tax advice. We urge our members to consult section 170 of the IRS Code and/or a qualified tax attorney for answers relating to tax deductibility.

I get an error message when I click on a store in the shopping section. Can I just go to the store directly outside of ForYourCause, shop and donate?
Unfortunately, the answer is No. Our unique mechanisms track purchases that are made through our website. Therefore, you must go through our site to make purchases and get the donations sent to your favorite cause or charity. If you do encounter this problem, please contact us and we will remedy the situation as soon as possible.

I want to make a purchase but am uncomfortable making this purchase online. Is their some way that I can buy this item and still get the percentage of purchase donation to my cause?
Yes. ForYourCause has existing relationships and is establishing several local markets for purchases like these. Boats, Real Estate, Automobiles, etc.. ForYourCause can help you make this purchase and receive a percentage of that purchase toward your cause or charity. Contact us and we will reply in earnest.
